Almost There

The past nine months have been very hectic and busy. We started by having an estate sale and ridding  ourselves of all our land dweller possessions, must admit it was a bit scary at first, but soon the sentimental attachment to all these things we had accumulated thru the years vanished.


 

But the thought of leaving our grand babies behind still weighs heavy on us.

Kathy has been working hard to close up the house while I try to complete the never ending list of projects to ready the boat. She is more than ready to get on the move, she has worked very hard and has been a great support, the best wife anyone can ask for!

Our Coast Guard documentation finally arrived, new sails are up and ready. After many setbacks awaiting parts and storm damage repairs we have set the end of April as a departure date, pending a weather window. For the past few months the weather has been awful, high winds and torrential rains for weeks at a time.

But God sent us a sign, fair weather ahead
