We are still in Carrabelle, had front row seats to the fireworks display and a great day...
Fared rather well with tropical storm Colin, though the eye came right over us we had winds of 25kts sustained for maybe half an hour, and a surge of 4ft above high tide. The worst part of the storm stayed to the east, Tampa area was hit with high winds, tornados and flooding.
Where and when is our next port of call is still undecided, we need to be close to a good hurricane hide out like a river or mangroves. We've spent our days working on boat projects, fishing and exploring the river by dingy.
