Hard to believe almost 30 days in Cuba, we have to renew our visa and are on our third day of going from office to office, waiting in line for hours, trips to the bank to buy required stamps, go to insurance office to buy the required health insurance policy, letter from marina, tons of paperwork and still not finished.
Weather has not been favorable for sailing, several strong fronts with high winds and seas over 12 feet have moved thru our area, but weather on land has been fabulous. But then again we remember our motto ‘ Time, time is on our side’ we are in no hurry to get any where fast.

A visit to Jaimanitas, a small town close to the marina, revealed the works of Fuster, an artist who has used his home town as his canvas for this impressive mosaic art, his works adorn the walls along the town streets and homes. The people are very proud of their revolutionary leaders.
Shopping for food has been a challenge if not an adventure. The stores are state run and have little to no real food, only liquor a few canned items, soft drinks, cleaning supplies... for eggs, flour, salt, sugar, bread, meat and vegetables, one needs to go to different out door markets, street vendors or private homes.
Nice pics, too much paperwork!
