St. Andrews Bay Panama City, Fl.

With seas 5  to 6 ft we pitched and rolled all night but managed to maintain 7kts and kept the deck dry. By 1pm we catch the first glimpse of land in the horizon, we are about 25 mi from the entrance to St. Andrews Bay. Kathy managed to get some sporadic signal on the cell phone and call the Vicker's. These are the folks we bought the boat from, they were elated to hear from us and looked forward to seeing us and the boat again, we will dock behind their house.

I got one bar

At 4:30 pm we make our approach to St Andrews Bay, with an outgoing tide the inlet is rough, 5-6 ft. waves with a 3.5kt current. Once in we found a clear spot and doused sails, and proceeded to Watson's Bayou. The Vicker's house is located just off the ICW across Military Pt. They were very cordial and accommodating, we plan on staying a couple of days to visit and tour the area.
